Changes in the educational program (EP) for students 6B07105 "Transport, transport equipment and technologies" set 2023

The Department of Transport and Mechanical Engineering, together with social partners and stakeholders of the transport industry of the real sector of production, has modernized the educational program 6B07105 "Transport, transport equipment and technologies". In accordance with the amendments to the State Educational Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 01/19/2023 No. 21, the department made changes to the cycle "General education disciplines". The MOS disciplines were updated taking into account the modern requirements of the transport industry and the prospects for expanding professional competencies.

Based on the concept of the Atlas of New Professions of Kazakhstan, together with the director of Partner-Auto LLP, B.K. Rakhimov, new disciplines have been developed that provide graduate competencies in the profile of professions, the appearance of which is expected in 2025-2030.

For example, the following changes were made to the educational program of specialty 6B07105 "Transport, transport equipment and technologies" for the set of 2023:

- in accordance with the changes in the State Budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Footnote. Appendix 1 - as amended by the Order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 01/19/2023 No. 21), the number of credits in educational blocks and, as a result, the composition of educational modules has been changed;

- Two new disciplines have been introduced into the cycle of basic disciplines (DB):

- "Computer programs and additive 3D printing technologies".

The results of studying this discipline will be the integration of the achievements of modern computer technology, software, digital reality based on SMART technology in all areas of the transport industry. Assessment of the complex technical condition of components, aggregates and parameters of rolling stock elements in order to optimize the design of their structure, technical characteristics and usage indicators, creates 3D models of the necessary spare parts and their production during the service period. The discipline "Transport Legislation" as a discipline of choice;

- in the cycle of professional disciplines (PD):

- "Reverse engineering of reverse digital 3D design";

- in order to optimize the educational process and the effectiveness of mastering modules, the curriculum was structured with minor changes in the sequence of studying disciplines by semesters.  

The Department is actively working on an action plan aimed at developing professional cooperation with Kazakhstani and foreign educational organizations on OP 6B07105 "Transport, transport equipment and technologies" for the harmonization of modules and the development of joint OP.

For example, in order to unify the curriculum of OP 6B07105 "Transport, transport equipment and Technologies" of the Department "Transport and Mechanical Engineering" of M. Kozybaev SKU, disciplines are coordinated with the department "Cars, Road Equipment and Standardization", the Academy of Logistics and Transport of Almaty together with OP 6B07119 Cars and automotive industry.

As partners of foreign universities, work is underway to harmonize programs with the departments of "Automobile Transport" and "Operation of Motor Transport and Auto Repair" of the Moscow State Automobile and Road Institute in Moscow and with the Institute of "Automobile Transport, Oil and Gas and Construction Equipment" of the Siberian State Automobile and Road University in Omsk.
