The number of young people earning easy money on betting and keen on gambling is growing every day. Ludomania is a huge problem of modern society. The psychological service of Kozybayev University jointly with the psychological Center of Personality Dmitry Agapov held a preventive event for students. At the guest lecture, the causes and consequences of gambling addiction were discussed.

"My task is to properly inform the young people about this problem. In fact, the passion for the game is an acute social issue. Ludomania is a behavior disorder. Specialists help to fight such a disease: a psychiatrist, a narcologist, a clinical psychologist. It is necessary to direct all the attention of society to solving the problem," said psychologist Dmitry Agapov.

According to the speaker, ludomania addiction is caused by a large amount of free time. In this regard, the students were encouraged to do useful things without wasting their time.
