Regional intellectual competition "Polyglot"

29.09.2023, the annual regional intellectual competition "Polyglot" was held in the audience of 253/3 as part of the Language Week.Aim: Promoting multilingualism among young people. The competition was attended by the teams of the Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Medical College, the College of Mechanical Engineering and Transport named after Baiken Ashimov, North Kazakhstan University named after Manash Kozybaev.Guests of the event, polyglots: head of the department "Economics and Accounting," c.e.s., professor Shaikin D.N. and teacher of school No. 32, Aslanova C.K., demonstrated their knowledge of languages. Guests noted the importance of fluency in foreign languages   in modern society.The university library organized and presented an exhibition of books in different languages.The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.Teachers who prepared teams for the competition were awarded letters of thanks.It is necessary to note the excellent training of students of the NKU team, which took 1st place.The organizers of the competition are the teacher of the department "Foreign Languages" Korablina T.N. and the teachers of the department "Practical Kazakh Language" Smailova K.K. and Zhambulova K.K.
