October 05, 2023 on the basis of the North Kazakhstan University named afterM. Kozybaeva hosted the VI International Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Organization of Vocational-Oriented Language Training of Students at the University."The guests of the seminar were the faculty of the Omsk State Pedagogical University in the person of the head. Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages   Drobotenko Yu.B., Head of the Department of Foreign Languages   Nazarova N.A. and Art. Teachers of the same department Panasenko E.V. and Smagina I.L. Also took part in the seminar Art. Teacher of the Department of Language Training, teacher-researcher of the Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan Antsibor E.S., teachers of the Department of German-Roman Philology, "Foreign languages" SKU named after M.Kozybayev, teachers of schools in the city and master's students.Discussion of the problems of vocational-oriented language training of students at the university, the issue of developing universal competencies of future specialists - this became the key issues of the event. The participants of the seminar also exchanged experience in teaching foreign languages   and Russian as a foreign language for students of universities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the seminar, interest was caused by acquaintance with new digital resources used in teaching the language at the university. Several reports focused on the didactic possibilities of using CLIL technology in teaching a professional foreign language.The participants of the seminar praised the organization and holding of this seminar, noted the timeliness and relevance of the discussion of the seminar issues and discussed the possibility of further cooperation between universities and schools.
