The Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 25, 1990, the Declaration on the State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan was approved. This date was a vital point in the development of the country. Today we celebrate the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan as one of the main holidays: a symbol of the continuity of generations, respect for historical merits and the will of our people on the path to independence.

A solemn event dedicated to this holiday was held at the university and a lot of employees and teachers received awards from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for their long-term and impeccable work, high achievements in training highly qualified specialists in the field of higher education and science. The badge "For contribution to the development of science" was awarded to Elena Sabieva, Director of the ILL. The badge "For contribution to the development of the native language" was received by Tatiana Akhmetova, head of the department "Practical Kazakh language".

More than 20 employees and teachers of the University received certificates of honor and gratitude letters from the MSHE of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Then talented students presented patriotic creative numbers to the audience. The Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan is legitimately considered a symbol of freedom and unity of our state.
