Evening in memory of Bakhyt Mustafin

An evening dedicated to the life and work of Bakhyt Mutallapovich Mustafin was held at the university. Journalist and writer Bakhyt Mustafin has been actively involved in the development of literary and journalistic creativity in North Kazakhstan region for many years.

He made a significant contribution to the expansion and enhancement of the authority of the Kazakh language in our region. Collections of essays by B. Mustafin have been published: "Jalel Kizatov", "Zhainagan Zher", "Kurmangali Suraganov" and others, the children's book "Tatti sabiz".

Bakhyt Mutallapovich is a laureate of the Union of Journalists prize, a chevalier of the Order of Dostyk. He began his career in the regional newspaper "Lenin Tuy". And in the publishing house "Soltustik Kazakhstan" he passed through all the stages of journalistic activity: he was executive secretary, deputy editor and chief editor. In 2005-2006, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Journalism at the M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University.

The memorable event was attended by the family and friends of Bakhyt Mustafin, his colleagues, faculty staff and students of the university, representatives of the regional akimat, public figures.
