Didar Smagulov's visit
The university was visited by a member of the Board of Directors of Kozybayev University, Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee, Executive Director of the PO "Adildik Zholy", public figure Didar Smagulov. Initially, he went on a tour of the new educational and laboratory complex. He got acquainted with the activities of laboratories, the center for agricultural competence, dormitories and academic buildings.
Working as a member of the Board of Directors, Didar Nurkenovich always has a great interest in the university activities and takes an active part in solving strategic tasks. He also held a meeting with Board members, heads of departments, deans and students. The issues of further improvement were considered.
"This university is not a stranger to me. We have been working on its corporate governance for two years now. All over the world, this method of management in the higher education system is one of the most effective, which increases transparency and openness. The attention of the whole country is now focused on the university. We have passed the big stage of launching a new project. Today, the main goals are: the region's development and the creation of better conditions for our children who study at Kozybayev University," Didar Smagulov assured.
He spoke about the work of the Board of Directors and discussed with the university staff the issues of introducing a new ELC into the educational process, major repairs of buildings and dormitories, awarding vacant grants and conducting the UNT. They also talked about Kozybayev University's compliance practice on anti-corruption and risk management and considered the digitalization of university processes.
