Kozybayev University became one of the first founding members of AGUNE

Kozybayev University has been collaborating with ASIIN (The Accreditation Agency for Study Programmes in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics) since 2012, when work began for the initial accreditation of the first cluster of our educational programs. Since then, a number of the university's technical EPs have successfully passed three evaluation procedures by ASIIN in 2013, 2015 and 2022.

ASIIN was founded in 1999 and is a member of major international quality assurance associations such as EENQA (The Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies), ENQAAAHE (The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education), EQAR (The European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education) and others. Furthermore, ASIIN is officially recognized in a number of countries for conducting international accreditation procedures there. And maintains partnerships with accreditation agencies in 25 countries.

More than 300 universities from 65 countries have accredited their educational programs at ASIIN. In 2023, ASIIN launched an initiative to establish an international university network within the framework of a continuous exchange - AGUNE (ASIIN Global University Network of Excellence). Kozybayev University became one of the first founding members of AGUNE along with other universities of Indonesia, Finland, Egypt, Serbia, Mexico, Georgia, China, Kazakhstan, Peru, Türkiye, Germany.

AGUNE major solving tasks: exchange of best practices in building and developing internal quality assurance systems and quality management schemes, broadening the quality assurance expertise in each network university and thus enhancement of the respective quality assurance culture, preparation for upcoming (national or international) external quality assurance procedures.

Kozybayev University's participation in AGUNE will contribute to the development of the university's internal quality assurance system and increase the university's recognition in the international educational environment.
