Education can become an effective tool against social problems. This was proved by the participants of the AntiParaCraft quest game. This event is designed to create anti-corruption culture among students and popularize legal knowledge in the university. 7 teams with 5 students from each faculty took part in games. They had to solve a wide range of tasks that addressed various aspects of corruption.
The participants presented videos and posters where they visualized their vision of solving the problems of bribery. Then they answered questions on the Law "On Combating Corruption", solved a situational case, solved puzzles and a crosswords on anti-corruption topics.
Their work was evaluated by a competent jury, which included Svetlana Zaitseva, inspector of the DAСА for North Kazakhstan Region, Ekaterina Aubakirova, officer for particularly important cases of the DAСА for North Kazakhstan Region, Salimkhan Sabitov, instructor of the Center for Public Development and Information of the DIA of North Kazakhstan Region, Birzhan Hudaibergenov, chairman of the Zhastar Rukhy under the AMANAT party, and others.
"The interactive form of the event contributes to the active involvement of young people and the development of an anti–corruption culture among students," said Inna Dzhemaledinova, Chief Compliance Officer of the University. As a result, the FHEL team became the winner. MF took the second place, PF took the third. The anti-corruption quest game, as a new method of preventing corruption, has shown its effectiveness in cultivating the principles of decency and academic integrity.
