A memorandum of cooperation has been signed

A delegation of representatives of the Youth Resource Center for the Management of Public Development of the Turkestan region visited Kozybayev University. A memorandum of mutual cooperation has been signed. As noted by Perdebek Eskulov, deputy head of the YRC of the Turkestan region, the purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the issues of studying at the university and living in dormitories for students from the Turkestan region, learn more about their needs, employment conditions, work obligations, leisure activities and others.

In total, 411 natives of the Turkestan region study at our university. Including 91 according to the Serpin-2050 program, 55 according to the quota for citizens from among rural youth moving to regions determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 45 people receive higher education through dual degree programs with the University of Arizona. At the meeting with the students, the guests discussed the issues of interest to the children, got acquainted with the directions of training young specialists. Also on this day, they visited the educational and laboratory building, the swimming pool, the museum and the dormitories of the university.
