Keeping up with the latest trends in education

The international scientific and practical conference "Current trends and strategies for the development of modern pedagogical education" hosted at our university, in collaboration with Surgut State Pedagogical University, delved into various aspects crucial to the formation of inclusive competence among future educators, strategies of educational trajectories and the continuous professional and pedagogical development within the field.

With over 300 scientific reports submitted from Kazakhstan, Russia, China, and Uzbekistan, the event served as a platform for exchanging advanced knowledge in teacher training. Notably, 35% of our undergraduate programs are dedicated to pedagogical studies, underscoring the significance of initiatives like the two-degree inclusion program with the University of Arizona, initiated this year. Tatyana Protopopova, Deputy Head of the Department of Education of the North Kazakhstan Region, emphasized the importance of pedagogical education in meeting contemporary challenges, labor market demands, and student expectations.

The conference aimed to enhance public awareness of modern issues in teacher education and facilitate experiential exchange. Through round table discussions and master classes, both within and outside the university premises, participants engaged in fruitful dialogues. This work is not only a significant step in training teaching staff, but also an opportunity for young and experienced scientists from various regions to exchange views. There is also support for connecting science with practice, said Acting Chairman of the Board - Rector Renata Apergenova.

The participants discussed in more detail their scientific accomplishments at the sessions in the following fields:
- relevant issues of psychological and pedagogical support;
- modern approaches and prospects for the development of special, inclusive and social education;
- trends in the development of primary and pre-school education;
- culture, science and art in the modern educational process;
- innovative technologies in the field of physical culture, sports and IMT.

The conference also hosted a meeting focusing on the professional and personal development of sports teachers at a specialized boarding school – the college of the Olympic reserve of the North Kazakhstan Region. Following the conference, a scientific collection will be published, featuring selected 223 research articles to disseminate the insights gained from this collaboration.
