1.5 million tenge for young scientists' projects

The winners of the competition for scientific projects funded by the Chairman of the Board - Rector's grant have been announced. This competition, organized by the Department of Science and the Council of Young Scientists at Kozybayev University, provides a unique opportunity for talented young researchers to showcase their work and receive financial support for their scientific endeavors. Master's students, doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and educators up to 40 years of age are eligible to participate. They present their scientific projects for consideration by the competition committee, covering a wide range of topics.

This year's themes included the development of a system for collecting agrochemical and meteorological data from agricultural fields, obtaining poplar extract from wood processing industry waste and its effects on agricultural crop seed indicators, research using atomic force microscopy, an information risk management system to support the professional development of novice educators, and others.

The total prize fund amounts to 1,500,000 tenge, which is distributed among the winners according to the decision of the competition committee.

The winners are:

1) Sayat Moldakhmetov, a third-year postdoctoral student from the Department of Energy and Radio Electronics.

2) Agniya Markova, a senior lecturer from the Department of Physics.

3) Gailya Aubakirova, a senior lecturer from the Department of Energy and Radio Electronics.

4) Anna Meshchanova, a third-year doctoral student from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.

5) Aizhan Aitulina, a senior lecturer from the Department of Energy and Radio Electronics.
