Title: Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer

For the disciplines:

Organic Chemistry / Introduction to Professional Activities (Biotechnology) / Food Biotechnology / Plant and Animal Genetics / Microbial Genetics / Mathematics (Higher Mathematics) / Physics / Computer Mathematics / Computational Mathematics

Qualification requirements of the faculty for international programs:

Associate Professor — the presence of a PhD or doctor's degree in a profile (preferably a foreign university) or the degree of the corresponding sciences; academic title (desirable), work experience of at least 3 years, including experience in international educational organizations or in international projects (preferred); being the author of at least 3 scientific articles in publications in the direction included in the list of publications recommended for publication of the results of scientific activity and 1 scientific article in an international peer-reviewed scientific journal with an impact factor according to JCR data or indexed in one of the databases Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Science Citation Index or Arts and Humanities Citation Index in the Web of Science Core Collection or having a CiteScore percentile of at least 25 in the Scopus database. Participation in scientific projects.

Senior Lecturer — the presence of a master's degree in the relevant sciences, or the presence of a doctor's degree PhD or doctor in profile (preferably a foreign university), or a scientific degree; the presence of an academic title (desirable); work experience in educational organizations of at least 2 years, experience in international educational organizations or in international projects is preferable; Kazakhstan and international certificates of advanced training and/or participation in training programs. The availability of scientific papers is encouraged.

Knowledge of languages:

Proficiency in the professional level of language competencies: Kazakh, Russian and English is preferable (a valid international certificate confirming proficiency in English is at least 6.5 IELTS or its equivalent. If you have a diploma confirming training in English, a certificate is not required.

Professional competence and personal qualities:

• Good interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work effectively as a team;
• Analytical skills;
