On September 5, 2024, Irina P. Panyshkina, a professor at the University of Arizona, invited as part of academic mobility (Irina P. Panyshkina, Associate Research Professor, Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research), conducted a seminar on new interdisciplinary research methods with students from the History Department. At this seminar, the professor spoke about her research and scientific projects in Central Asia on the study of tree rings and, based on them, recreating the climatic picture of the past and the use of this method in archaeology. The meeting was attended by the director of the branch of the Institute of Archeology. A.
