An excursion to the Botanical Garden with students from China

28.10.2024 teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages   Aubakirova S.S. and Korablina T.N. organized and conducted an excursion to the Botanical Garden with students from China who are at our university under the Academic Mobility program.
The R. Ryazapov Botanical Garden in our city is a unique object of landscape gardening art, the oldest in Kazakhstan, which is 112 years old.
The uniqueness of the complex lies in the fact that initially the prerequisites for its creation were industrial goals to meet the need of the meat canning plant for ingredients - onions and bay leaf. In 1912, during the construction of the Siberian cannery, 12 laurel trees were delivered from St. Petersburg.
Over time, the complex received its further development.
Students listened to an amazing story about how exotic plants ended up in the north of Kazakhstan, noted in the Book of Reviews of the Botanical Garden that this place is one of the best in our city.
