Nikita Izotov is the first in the country!

Our famous athlete, student Nikita Izotov, became the winner of the Kazakhstan Winter Athletics Championship among professional athletes for the first time!

The competition was held on February 14-16 in Astana and brought together the strongest athletes from all over the country. Nikita represented North Kazakhstan Region and competed in the 800 m. In the final, he confidently won with a score of 1.53.99 minutes, setting a personal best, and won the title of the winner! Thanks to this achievement, he joined the national team!

Nikita Izotov is a 4th-year student at the pedagogical faculty in the educational program "Physical Education and primary military training." He is an international master of sports in polyathlon, a multiple medalist and champion in the winter and summer presidential all-around. And now he's showing brilliant results in athletics as well!

Nikita's coach is Alexander Vladimirovich Naumov, senior lecturer at the  Department of Physical education and sports. Our athlete has two more championships ahead of him – Kazakhstan and Asia! We wish Nikita good health and new victories!
