Web quest

24.02.2025  teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages, LLI NKU named after M. Kozybaev Alekberova L.A. and Tleubaeva D.A. held on the ZOOM platform in the framework of international cooperation with OMSPU Web quest for students of the 1st year of non-linguistic specialties.The main educational goal of the Web-quest was to improve lexical and grammatical skills through the assimilation of new information, as well as mastering speech skills during communication during intellectual play.An important thing was the creation of conditions for the disclosure of the creative potential and self-realization of the participants of the web-quest; awakening students to further study the cultural and linguistic features of newspaper and magazine vocabulary; motivating students to learn a foreign language; developing a sense of belonging to various tasks; development of language and digital competencies of student youth in the modern world; raising awareness of global media.The quest was attended by 2 teams from each university. The quest took place in two rounds. In each, teams worked with news sections. For team captains, a Google Form was held for awareness of the latest news and news feed.The winner of the Web quest was the team from OmGPU "Prime Time," the second place was taken by the team "The white comets" of SKU. Honorary third places were taken by the teams "Lumus" NKU, "Charming Ladies" OmSPI.
