Regional Round Table "Youth of Kazakhstan against Terrorism and Extremism"

On February 24, 2025, the "Regional Round Table "Youth of Kazakhstan against Terrorism and Extremism" was held on the Zoom platform (ID 6528370074, password 1111).Participants: students and teachers of SKU named after Manash Kozybaev, head of the department "Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan" Grivennaya L.A., students and teachers Meiramova Aislu Turlybekovna, Bulgarian Bota Ashimovna, Takenov Tlegen Eltaevich of the Higher North Kazakhstan Vocational Pedagogical College, students and teacher of the college SKU Makhmetova Aliya Tobylzhanovna, religious expert in the Information and Explanatory Group at the Center for the Study of Problems of Religion Sinyakov Oleg Vitalievich, Astana.The event was held in the form of a round table, where the attending religious expert of Astana O.V. Sinyakov noted that the threat of the spread of extremist ideology, characterized by the development of youth extremism, has significantly increased in the world. The widespread spread of extremism among young people is evidence of insufficient social adaptation, the development of antisocial attitudes that cause illegal patterns of its behavior. And in order to counter the threat of the spread of this phenomenon, it is necessary to introduce various methods of preventing extremism and do this not formally, limiting itself only to the creation of prevention programs, but to use and apply various effective technologies. The students present asked many questions in three languages (Russian, Kazakh and English) and received comprehensive answers.Summing up the results of our round table, we all came to a consensus that terrorism and extremism are evil and must be fought.
