The university is running its traditional ‘Clean Session” campaign, aimed at fostering a culture of academic integrity and ensuring transparency in the educational process. The goal is to raise student responsibility and create an atmosphere free from cheating and any form of corruption during exams.
Our university has been an active member of the Academic Integrity League since 2018. In line with the League’s Standards, we continuously implement mechanisms to enhance academic integrity among both students and faculty members during examination periods.
This summer session, we are using the adASTRA system, which anonymizes written exams using QR codes. This ensures full objectivity in the assessment process.
About 30 student volunteers, operating under the Sanaly Urpaq project office, monitor the examinations. In addition, real-time oversight is provided by the university's Digitalization Department through the WEB SERVICE monitoring system installed in computer classrooms. To address violations of academic integrity, a collegial body — the Ethics Committee — has been established at the university.
It is worth noting that the systematic implementation of the “Clean Session” campaign has helped improve student discipline and reduce the number of academic violations, as confirmed by the declining number of reports submitted to the Ethics Committee. The campaign will continue until the end of the examination period. May your session be successful, honest, and fair!
