A Historic Milestone – Kozybayev University Enters the QS World University Rankings 2026 for the First Time! Kozybayev University has made history by joining one of the world’s most prestigious and authoritative global rankings – the QS World University Rankings 2026!
Published annually by the British analytics firm Quacquarelli Symonds since 2004, the QS Rankings are a recognized global benchmark of excellence in higher education. This year, nearly 8,500 universities worldwide were considered for inclusion – and only 1,501 were selected. Kozybayev University is now proudly among the 20 institutions representing Kazakhstan in this global list!
For the first time in its history, the university has earned a spot in the QS global rankings, landing in the 1401+ band. But this is more than just a number – it's a milestone victory, a mark of recognition and pride, and the result of years of strategic growth, dedication, and belief in our university’s potential.

In 2024, the university ranked among the top 50 in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025, placing 32nd in Central Asia and 22nd among Kazakhstani universities. And now – the next step: global recognition!
