FMNS and PF - the Main Heroes of the Sports Week

The Student Sports League, dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has concluded at Kozybayev University. Over three days, faculty teams, the Institute of Language and Literature, and the International Campus competed to determine the strongest teams in women’s volleyball and men’s futsal.

In the volleyball tournament, 7 teams took part. After intense matches, the final standings were as follows:

1st place — PF (Pedagogical Faculty)

2nd place — AF (Agrotechnological Faculty)

3rd place — FMNS (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences)

Best attacker: Aknur Bekturgan (group B-25k, FMNS)

Best player: Anel Kozhakhmetova (group FCS-24-2, PF)

The futsal competitions were held on the field near the Teaching and Laboratory Building and featured 9 teams. The final match between FMNS and PF was especially thrilling. Regular time ended in a 3:3 draw, but FMNS managed to secure victory in extra time. The final score was 5:3. The third place went to the Institute of Language and Literature.
