Applicants Got Acquainted with the Opportunities of Kozybayev University

Traditionally, Kozybayev University hosted an Open Day for senior school students from Petropavlovsk and the districts of the North Kazakhstan Region. Around 300 students visited the new educational and laboratory building, explored modern laboratories, sat in classrooms, and communicated with current students, gaining first-hand insight into everyday student life.

Applicants received comprehensive information about studying at the university, including in-demand academic programs, academic mobility opportunities, studies under leading professors from Kazakhstan and abroad, implementation of creative projects, and the possibility of obtaining a dual degree from Kozybayev University and the University of Arizona. Faculties and departments also presented their academic programs.

The most engaging part of the event was the interactive program, where school students took part in a dance battle. Winners and prizeholders received branded Kozybayev University merchandise.

About 90 students who chose teaching-related specialties participated in the quest “Become someone who will be remembered”, as well as trainings, master classes, and creative competitions.

“This project was implemented jointly with the North Kazakhstan Region Department of Education and the Methodological Center to help students make informed career choices in the future. We will continue supporting school graduates, in particular by assisting them in preparing for the pedagogical situation exam required for admission to teaching programs,” said Aigul Nurpeisova.

Students also met with faculty career advisors and specialists from the Admissions and Recruitment Office, receiving consultations on academic programs, admission procedures, dormitory accommodation, benefits, scholarships, and grants.
