Regional Gathering of “Sanaly Urpaq” Volunteer Student Clubs

Student clubs of SANALY URPAQ have been established in educational institutions across the Republic of Kazakhstan to promote a zero-tolerance culture toward corruption and ethical violations, foster patriotism, advance the principles of academic integrity and transparency, and strengthen active civic engagement among young people.

During the regional gathering, participants formed teams within the university to test their knowledge of anti-corruption culture.

The event consisted of three rounds in which students presented their research and volunteer projects and developed an Academic Integrity Oath.

The contestants were evaluated by a distinguished jury that included:

Ruslan Asaubaev, Head of the North Kazakhstan Region branch of the Republican Public Association First Anti-Corruption Media Center; Makhabbat Yerkenova, Methodologist at the Palace of Schoolchildren; Yerlan Abilkarymov, Anti-Corruption Compliance Specialist at City Polyclinic No. 1.

As a result, the team of students from Kozybayev University claimed first place. Second place went to students of the Baiken Ashimov Petropavlovsk College of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, while activists from the Magzhan Zhumabayev Higher College finished third.
