On the announcement of the competition for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s scholarship for the first half of 2026 (based on the results of the winter examination session of the 2025–2026 academic year)

Dear Students,

The competition for awarding the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s scholarship is conducted based on the results of the winter examination session of the 2025–2026 academic year, in accordance with the Rules for awarding scholarships established by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 7, 2011, No. 136.

Nominations for the President’s scholarship are submitted by faculty councils, on the recommendation of deans, or through self-nomination.

Requirements for Applicants:

1. The scholarship is awarded to full-time students from the 3rd year and master’s students from the second year of study, who study only with excellent grades (A, A-), both on the basis of the state educational order and on a tuition-paying basis.
2. When awarding the scholarship, the following achievements of the applicant, documented, are taken into account:

Selection Procedure:

1. The applicant submits a package of documents according to the list to the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs. The Vice-Dean verifies the documents for compliance with the requirements and forwards them to the Bursar’s Office for consideration by the Commission;
2. The Commission analyzes the submitted documents for further consideration at the meeting of the University Academic Council.
3. Selection is carried out according to points 1 and 2 indicated in the “Requirements for Applicants.” In case of equal conditions, preference is given to:

- orphans and children left without parental care;
- persons with disabilities from childhood, children with disabilities.

4. The Academic Council makes a decision on awarding the President’s scholarship individually for each applicant.
5. The scholarship is awarded by the order of the Chairperson–Rector of Non-profit limited company "Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University" based on the decision of the Academic Council.

Submission of documents is accepted until January 20, 2026, at 18:00.

List of Documents for Participation in the Competition:

1. Application of the student addressed to the Chairperson–Rector of Non-profit limited company "Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University" for participation in the competition for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s scholarship;
2. Copy of the student’s identity document;
3. Transcript for the entire period of study with all signatures and the university seal;
4. Copies of documents confirming the applicant’s achievements (certificates, awards, letters of appreciation, etc.).
