On the Announcement of a Competition for Filling Vacant Academic Staff Positions

Non-profit limited company “M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University” announces a competition to fill vacant academic teaching positions.

1. Department of Kazakh Language and Literature
   Senior Lecturer – 1 position

2. Department of Agronomy and Forestry
   Senior Lecturer, Head of Department – 1 position

The following documents are required for participation in the competition.

Applicants currently employed by the University shall attach the following documents to the application:

- copies of professional development certificates relevant to the taught disciplines for the last three years;

- a list of published and equivalent scientific, educational, and methodological works certified in accordance with the procedure established by the University;

- an electronic presentation on professional activities and management of personal professional development (no more than 6 slides);

- a recommendation from the department (for candidates for Kazakhstan-based educational programs) or from the International Campus (for candidates for dual-degree educational programs);

- an international certificate confirming proficiency in English at a level of at least IELTS 6.0 or its equivalent for academic teaching staff of dual-degree educational programs with the University of Arizona. If the candidate holds a diploma confirming education conducted in English, the certificate is not required.

Applicants not employed by the University shall attach the following documents to the application:

- a copy of an identity document;

- copies of documents confirming compliance with qualification requirements (education diplomas);

- copies of retraining and professional development certificates, if available, for the last three years (this requirement does not apply to practitioner instructors or persons with confirmed work experience in the production sector);

- a list of scientific publications for the last five years certified in accordance with the internal regulations of the previous place of employment, or offprints of published scientific articles (this requirement does not apply to practitioner instructors or persons with confirmed work experience in the production sector);

- a medical certificate in Form No. 075/u;

- a certificate confirming the presence or absence of a criminal record;

- a certificate from a narcological organization confirming that the candidate is not registered;

- a certificate from a psychoneurological organization confirming that the candidate is not registered;

- a copy of the employment record book or other documents confirming experience in scientific and pedagogical or practical activities;

- an electronic presentation on professional activities and management of personal professional development (at least 6 slides);

- an international certificate confirming proficiency in English at a level of at least IELTS 6.0 or its equivalent for academic teaching staff of dual-degree educational programs with the University of Arizona. If the candidate holds a diploma confirming education conducted in English, the certificate is not required.

Documents for participation in the competition are accepted from 09:00 on January 29, 2026, to 15:00 on February 7, 2026.
