Second Congress of historians of Kazakhstan

On 25 October the second Congress of historians of Kazakhstan was held at the Eurasian university named after L. Gumilev in Astana. Its device – “The nation in the history flow”.  More than 500 people were delegates, prominent scientists, public figures, veterans, teachers and students, including two teachers of our HEI were among them. They were Professor, associate professor of Kazakh philology department Zarkyn Tayshibay and Candidate of History Zaure Kartova.

At the Congress Z. Tayshibay spoke on theme “Historical and hypsographical problems of Ablaevedenie”. It’s important to note, this termin was put to the scientific turn thanks to the long-term scientific investigation of professor.

Participants of the Congress was acquainted with the fundamental research in all fields of the history of Kazakhstan, but only an integrated study could help to understand the whole pictures of past.
