Seminar at the Nazarbayev University

The Nazarbayev University and the University of Edinburgh inform the start of applications from researchers to participate in a seminar on the theme "Innovation and modernization in public services with the use of information and communication technologies", which will be held in Astana, from 2 to 6 February 2015, supported by the British Council "Research communications" of the "Fund of Newton-Al-Farabi".

Participants must be at the beginning of a career in political science, public policy, management and / or international relations, living in the UK or Kazakhstan. It is assumed that the beginner researchers have received a PhD degree (or Candidate in sciences) not more than 10 years ago before the seminar (or have equivalent experience), thus it can be considered breaks in scientific activities. PhD students and researchers, who do not have the PhD degree, may also participate in the seminar. The seminar will be held in English. Transport charges and residence in Astana will be paid by the grant of the British Council. The application form and a more detailed description of the program are attached.
