University staff discussed the interview with the Minister of Education and Science

April 2, 2013 the staff of NKSU named after M.Kozybayev discussed the interview with the Minister of Education and Science Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov "The quality of education is important for all of us", published in the newspaper "Kazakhstan Today".

In an interview with the Minister, there was a talk about the activities implemented in the framework of the State Program of Education Development for 2011-2020 for 2 years.

According to the minister, "Absolutely all new tools that we have started and run are important they are meant to address the ambitious goal set by the Head of State". These include e-learning, quality control at the national level, a new system of teacher training program at Cambridge University, independent certification of graduates of colleges and universities.

Teachers and students of the University exchanged views on the issues that were raised during the interview. Head of social and educational work Elmira Tanakulova set out goals and objectives in the field of science: science as a whole, the financing of science. Lecturer of Multi-Profiled College Irina Bekmetova reported the situation of implementation of e learning at the University. The Chairman of students’ trade union committee Kuanysh Mametov and activists of the student council assured that the quality of education opens tremendous opportunities for young people. All participants unanimously supported the new initiative.
