M. Kozybayev NKSU has entered the top twenty of Kazakhstan universities according to the Webometrics

Spanish research group Cybermetrics Lab has published a new edition of the world ranking of universities called Webometrics, based on the presentation of universities on the Internet.

M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan State University is at 20 place among 102 Kazakhstan universities participated in the ranking.

Cybermetrics Lab evaluates universities for 4 parameters:

• volume site;
• the number of referring sites;
• the number of pdf-files available on the site;
• citation of scientific articles.

Data for the ranking are compiled from public sources: Google, ahrefs and Majestic (counting services of external links), Scimago(scientific journals ranking ).

Over the past 4 years NKSU rose for 26 positions among Kazakhstan universities in the Webometrics ranking.
