The visit of ASIIN experts

From 17 to 18 April 2013 German experts of the accreditation agency ASIIN visited NKSU named after M. Kozybayev. The group of experts assessed the quality of educational programs 5B071800 Power Engineering, 6M071800 Power Engineering and 5B071600 Instrument Engineering.

For the university it was the first experience of international accreditation of educational programs. During the visit, there were meetings of experts with the university administration, academic staff, students, and leaders of energy companies. Experts examined the regulatory, organizational and methodological papers on educational programs, curriculums of disciplines, and samples of students' graduation papers, educational facilities and other materials provided by the university in the course of the audit. The next stage of the accreditation process is to review the audit results and to make further decision on program evaluation by Accreditation Council of ASIIN.
