In 2016, the Department of Energy and radioelectronics of the faculty of Engineering and technology started research on the project "Development of two cycle innovative curriculum in microelectronic engineering (DOCMEN)" under the program ERASMUS+ Programme - Capacity Building in Higher Education, funded by the European Commission. Project coordinators are Krakow technical University (Krakow, Poland) and the Center "Engineering Consulting and Management for Space Technologies" (Berlin, Germany).
On February 18-19, 2016 the first conference (kick-off meeting) was held within the framework of the project. North Kazakhstan state University named after M. Kozybayeva was presented by the head of the Department of EaR Koshekov K.T. and Associate Professor Savostin A.A. at the conference, reports and presentations of achievements and opportunities for the project implementation were presented from all universities, goals and research program were defined.
