On September 1 the holiday in honor of freshmen was held in NKSU of M. Kozybayev

New academic year also begins with the first day of autumn! Our university met freshmen festively and solemnly. They are about 2000 this year. Opening the event, acting rector Serik Maulenovich Omirbayev addressed to the students with parting words.

During the performance Serik Maulenovich reminded of the significant events which are coming in the new academic year. First of all, it is 80 anniversary of our university. Also in 2016 it will be 13 years since our HEI is named after outstanding scientist, academician Manash Kozybayev at whose bust flowers had been laid.

Among freshmen there were boys and girls for whom this holiday was especially exciting. Participants of the «Serpin-2050» project came to study to our HEI from the southern regions of Kazakhstan. The first bell became the beginning of new life far from home for them.

The concert program which followed after an official part acquainted freshmen with activity of student creative teams which there is a lot of in NKSU: choreographic and folklore ensembles, 3 theaters, team of CCS.

Inspired by positive energy of the holiday and love to native university the students of NKSU went to a long scabrous way to knowledge!
