Congress of the leaders of world and traditional religions

Over the years of independence of Kazakhstan international initiatives which were important in worldwide policy were taken by the First President of our country N. Nazarbayev repeatedly.

The manifesto "The World. The 21st century" offered by the President represents a strategic platform of creation of complete system of a steady world order in the conditions of new global reality. The Head of State emphasizes peaceful dialogue and constructive negotiations on the basis of equal responsibility for peace and security, mutual respect and non-interference into domestic affairs. Humankind needs the peace. When people work and have a rest in harmony, it is the greatest human happiness.

Holding of the Congress of the leaders of world and traditional religions is one of the main initiatives of Kazakhstan. The dialogue between the leaders of world and traditional religions, built on trust and mutual understanding, will open up broad prospects for international cooperation in the appropriate area, helping to overcome violence, religious extremism and terrorism.
