"Assembly of people of Kazakhstan" and "Pedagogy and psychology" departments held a training seminar "How to avoid conflict"

One of the important directions in the activity of Assembly of people of Kazakhstan is the prevention of interethnic and inter-confessional conflicts.

November 16, 2016, on International Tolerance Day, the department "Assembly of people of Kazakhstan " and "Pedagogy and psychology" held a training seminar "How to avoid conflict" for the faculty, staff and students of our university, representatives of ethno-cultural associations of the North Kazakhstan regional Assembly of people of Kazakhstan.

The objective of the training seminar is to disseminate knowledge, to train the skills in the prevention of conflict and conflict situations.

The seminar was attended by Grivennaya L.A. – Chair of "Assembly of people of Kazakhstan" department, Volchkova N.I. – senior lecturer and Suvorova K.R. - lecturer of "Pedagogy and psychology" department.

During the seminar participants were informed about what is a conflict, the causes of conflict, types, methods and techniques to prevent them. Lecturers of the department of "Pedagogy and psychology" were given recommendations for correcting their behavior towards the reduction of conflict.

Grivennaya L.A. recommended for the lecturers of "Pedagogy and psychology" department to develop mediation issues aimed at resolving the conflict.

For participants it were carried out training exercises aimed at preventing the formation of skills of conflicts and conflict situations. During the training participants make collective drawings, performed communicative and game exercises. At the end of the training seminar the positive direction individual wishes were given to all.
