The conference "Youth and Science - 2017" was held at NKSU

The international scientific and practical conference "Youth and Science - 2017" was held at M. Kozybayev NKSU. For the fourth year the conference gathered the best young scientists not only from Kazakhstan, but also from the near abroad at our university. The event was opened by Vice-Rector for strategy and international cooperation Aidos Mukhatayev.

It should be noted that the holding of such a major scientific event was supported by the leaders of regional youth organizations. They consider the study of science as the most important aspect of the harmonious development of the individual. During the plenary session the student of the State Agrarian University of Northern Trans-Urals Rustem Nurkin made a speech. His report on the topic of increasing the yield of cereals was met with interest by the participants of the conference.

In total, the conference received more than 200 articles, the authors of which are not only students of Kazakhstan, but also nearby regions of the Russian Federation. All the works are devoted to different subjects: from mathematical calculations to the study of events in Russian history.

And at the end of the plenary session, the awarding of young scientists who became holders of a grant of the rector for the amount of 150 thousand tenge, as well as prizewinners of the republican competition of scientific research works was held. The work of the conference continued in the format of sectional sessions in seven areas.

The 21st century is a time of advanced technology and scientific progress. It is research work that gives the world hundreds of new inventions, which, in turn, serve the human welfare. As scientists note, today the average age of people engaged in science has exceeded 60 years. Young people should be actively involved in this work. After all, only "young minds" are able to think progressively, and therefore, to bring new ideas to science.
