Round Table

On the threshold of VI Astana Economic Forum where will meet around 8,000 prominent political leaders and chief executive officers of businesses from 80 countries, a round table discussion dedicated to strategic initiatives of N.A. Nazarbayev on Global Economy formation was held in NKSU named after M. Kozybayev.

University administration, teaching staff as well as Farkhad Kuanganov, Deputy Akim on social issues of North Kazakhstan region, and Anatoly Spitsin, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, First Vice-President of Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists took part in round table discussion. He told those present about G-Global Communication Internet Platform suggested to the world by N.A. Nazarbayev. More than 30,000 visitors visited this Internet forum. Besides, Anatoly Tikhonovich touched upon the issue of global economic crisis and food safety. Then he presented his book “Strategic initiatives of N.A. Nazarbayev on Global Economy formation”. It should be noted that this scientific work was presented for the first time.

“All the ideas on formation of new economic and financial architecture of the President of Kazakhstan are extremely important. Admittedly, he is a world-class politician, a strategist and a scientist and his suggestions are important for many countries”, said Anatoly Spitsin.

On behalf of Presidium of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Anatoly Tikhonovich awarded the V.I. Vernadsky medal to Rector of NKSU Undasyn Ashimov for his outstanding scientific achievements.
