11 декабря 2018 года студенты кафедры приняли участие в областном конкурсе молодых поэтов «Тәуелсіздік тұғыры» ко дню Независимости. По итогам конкурса награждены дипломами І,ІІІ степени и в номинации «Үздік өнер көрсеткені үшін».
