In our country today, a lot of attention is paid to the well-being of citizens and to achieving of a new quality of Kazakhstan people's life. This new quality has many components. We strive to make competitive domestic products of high quality. It is taken a landmark to a new level of social life. A quality education, according to our President, should be the basis of industrialization and innovative development of Kazakhstan.
Educational institutions of our region can always be proud of their results and their contribution to the development of Kazakhstan's education. Our school and college students are winners of national and international competitions. Graduates of our schools show high scores at the UNT, and scientific projects of our youth are notable by their innovative approach and deep research.
Today we can say that education of young people - is one of the most important strategic resources and benefits of our region. And here there is invaluable contribution of each teacher, each employee of our great team.
World Quality Day is an annual event held around the world on the second Thursday of November. In 2012, the World Quality Day is celebrated on November 8.
The initiator of this day is the European Organization for Quality (EOQ) , with the support of the United Nations (UN). Quality Day was celebrated for the first time since Nov. 9, 1989 with the support of the UN initiative of leading international organizations for quality: the European Organization for Quality, Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers, the American Society for Quality Control and the Latin American Organization for Quality.
World Quality Day was approved in 1990. And after six years, the European Organization for Quality announced a week, in which gets the second Thursday of November, the European Quality Week.
The purpose of World Quality Day is to increase the value of high quality products and services, as well as intensification of activities aimed at drawing attention to the problems of quality.
Our university is the first among Kazakhstan universities and industrial enterprises who supported this tradition. From 5 to 10 November 2012 a Week of Quality is spent in NKSU named after M.Kozybayev for the seventh time, during this week a variety of activities take place under the motto "From the quality of education to the quality in production".
