M. Kozybayev NKSU participated in the republican Forum of compliance officers

M. Kozybayev NKSU was one of the first in the country among higher educational institutions to introduce compliance officers into the staff. The sphere of compliance services is quite new for Kazakhstan, but it has already announced its prospects in the largest international financial companies. Keeping up with the times, our University is constantly striving to improve the quality of educational services. For this purpose, a system of measures was introduced to prevent violations of the current legislation, including anti-corruption, internal regulations and codes of conduct, the formation of a good environment among the corporate sector, risk management, that is, compliance control.

For the first time in the country, the Anti-Corruption agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with KPMG Kazakhstan held a Forum of compliance officers in Nur-Sultan. It was attended by employees of the M. Kozybayev NKSU a chief compliance officer academician Natalya Pobezhuk and compliance officer of the project office "Sanaly urpaq" Bogdan Petrov. The event brought together colleagues from all over the Republic. The speakers were Chairman of the Agency PK Alik Shpekbayev, Deputy of the Majilis Gulnar Bizhanova, as well as representatives of international and non-profit organizations.

The forum developed recommendations to strengthen the role of compliance officers in preventing and combating corruption in the implementation of the Anti-Corruption strategy of Kazakhstan.
