Kozybayev readings - 2019

On November 15, the international scientific and practical conference "Kozybayev readings-2019: Spiritual modernization and trends in the development of scientific and educational space in the modern world" was held at the M. Kozybayev NKSU.

Before the event, participants and guests laid flowers at the bust of academician Manash Kozybayev, paying tribute to his scientific heritage. He created a new concept of historical consciousness, re-revised history, without the prism of Soviet dogma, opened previously unknown documents. His works are distinguished by balanced assessments and objectivity.

The conference was attended by leading scientists from Nursultan, Almaty, Semey and other cities of the country, as well as the Russian Federation-Saransk, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Ishim, Barnaul. At the plenary session, the guests were welcomed by the acting rector Yerbol Issakayev. He noted that this year the conference received more than 300 reports.

The speakers touched upon the following topics: "the Role of academician Manash Kozybayev in the formation of historical consciousness", "Spiritual modernization and history of the region" and others.

The head of the Department of education Gulmira Karimova spoke about the contribution of M. Kozybayev NKSU to the historical science of the country. She assured that in 2020 the University with the support of the Governor's office of the North Kazakhstan region will conduct large-scale scientific research on the excavations of medieval mausoleums in the area of Kyzyloba of the Ualikhanov district. The discovery of this historical monument also belongs to our archaeologists.

Mahabbat Kozybayeva scientific Secretary of the Ch. Valikhano Institute of history and Ethnology v spoke about the implementation of the project "Great names of the great Steppe" and presented to the library of the University books published by the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan in recent years.

Abduakap Kara, Turkologist, writer, Professor of Mimar Sinan University of arts (Turkey, Istanbul) made a video message about Manash Kozybayev's mentoring. In addition, the presentation of the books "M. Atabaev: time and personality"; "Abulkhair Khan and the Russian administration"; "Life and work of Magzhan".

Topical scientific issues were discussed at breakout sessions and a round table held within the framework of Kozybayev readings. Also on this day, with the participation of guests of the conference, the Grand opening of the "Alley of students" dedicated to the year of youth was held.
