Cooperation between the University and colleges of North Kazakhstan region: prospects and results

To adjust the action of the University with the Department of education, colleges NKR in order to improve the quality of teaching, to inform the graduates of secondary special educational institutions about the specifics of the admission campaign and entrance requirements to the University - these are the goals of the meeting between the acting rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU Yerbol Issakayev and the Directors of 12 colleges in Petropavlovsk.

"Close cooperation will allow us to harmonize our educational programs, make them the most convenient and flexible; where possible, reduce the training time, build an educational trajectory that is most optimal for everyone," Yerbol Issakayev addressed his colleagues.

"College students should be informed about the possibilities of entering the University, depending on their qualifications: "working profession" or "secondary special education". In the second case, it is possible to enter related specialties of the University with reduced terms of study (2 years). However, the analysis of the results of the competition for government educational grants last year found that many technical, pedagogical, agricultural specialities budgetary places, in accelerated form, were unfulfilled due to the fact that the applicants have not passed or do not get a passing score on UNT", - said the Executive Secretary of admission Committee of M. Kozybayev NKSU Irina Golodova.

Employees and teachers of all departments regularly visit educational institutions of the North Kazakhstan region, report on the admission campaign and the timing of the Unified national testing. This year, applications from applicants for the UNT will be accepted from April 1 to may 10. The exam itself will be held in late June or early July.

The deans of the faculties told about related specialties that graduates of higher education institutions can apply for. College Directors, in turn, made a proposal to adjust the work plans with the University, which will allow purposefully preparing students who want to enter a higher education institution.
