The increase in wages has already been felt by teachers of the M. Kozybayev NKSU

Until January 10, 2020, the Minister of education and science of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov instructed rectors of subordinate universities to increase the salaries of teachers by 30% - 50%. At the same time, the increase in the salary Fund should be at the expense of the budgets of the universities themselves, the Head of the MES noted. For professors, Associate professors and teachers, it increased by 30%.

The total number of students in the University is 462. All of them have already experienced a significant increase in their income. Note that many teachers have 1.5 rates, someone receives additional allowances for existing scientific degrees (candidates, doctors of science), head of departments (there are 29 of them in the University).

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined goals in the field of improving the quality of education and supporting the status of teachers, where decent pay is among the priorities.

In the light of administrative, academic and financial autonomy, as well as increasing the value of state education grants of MES RK in 2020, the work on increase of salaries of teachers and staff of our University will continue.
