International conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of doctor of chemical sciences, Professor Vladilen Polyakov

The annual international scientific and practical conference "Actual problems of science and education in the field of natural and agricultural Sciences" was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of doctor of chemical sciences, professor V. Polyakov.

Vladilen Polyakov is the author of 265 publications, the owner of 13 copyright certificates of the USSR, 11 patents, 2 monographs, 5 textbooks. Scientific research of Professor Polyakov and his students is aimed at solving the problems of fighting cancer and tuberculosis. Poplar extract is used to make biologically active preparations. Drugs such as "Topolin" and "Efmatol"were obtained. They have successfully passed clinical trials as antitumor, antipyretic and antimicrobial agents.

More than 50 participants and 134 scientific articles from Russia, Uzbekistan, Poland, Belarus, Moldova, Lithuania and Kazakhstan. The geography of the conference is extensive: from Gdansk to Yakutsk, from Salekhard to Tashkent.

Opening the large-scale event, acting rector Yerbol Issakayev said: "Today, our scientists conduct fundamental and applied research on grants from the Committee of science of the MES of Kazakhstan. The total amount of funds received from the projects is more than 200 million tenge. Students of the University are involved in scientific work from the second year. We are proud of their results. For example, students of the specialty "Geography" are the only four-time winners of the Republican student subject Olympiad in the country."

Next, the award ceremony for the winners of the national competition NIRS 2019, in which our guys took 16 prizes.

Reports were made by scientists from the cities of Tashkent, Tyumen, Omsk, Barnaul, colleagues of V. Polyakov from the international scientific and production holding "Phytochemistry" (Karaganda).

The conference continued with breakout sessions.  At which they considered the problems of science and education in the field of chemistry, ecological-geographical and biological-genetic research, agriculture, optimization of the learning process in higher education and school, held a number of master classes.
