For the first time, the regional competition "RED SPARK 2020" was held at the M. Kozybayev NKSU

We haven't seen such a large amount of young and creative energy that flooded the M. Kozybayev NKSU for a long time. The regional competition of startup projects "RED SPARK 2020", held at our University with the support of the regional chamber of entrepreneurs "Atameken", brought together innovators aged 16 to 29 years. The students presented their projects, and mentors from among active businessmen evaluated their novelty and viability of ideas.

Opening the event, Acting rector Yerbol Issakayev noted that it is a great opportunity for young people to try their hand at the University platform. And the acquired skills in building communication, psychological training, the ability to behave and present their calculations will help in later life.

A total of 58 projects were submitted for the competition. It is gratifying that more than 70% of them are Alma mater students. Was also attended by schoolchildren of Petropavlovsk and the North Kazakhstan region. The theme of the works is diverse: opening of city hostels, design of Studio interiors, quail farm, production of paving slabs from recycled waste, production of phyto-plasters. There were also social ideas: a day care center for the elderly, creating mobile apps for quick communication between citizens and city departments, launching job search sites for students and schoolchildren, opening a school of photographers for children with special educational needs, and many more.

The task of the guys is not only to win, but to interest and attract investors.

As a result, the 1st place and the prize of 30,000 tenge went to the young scientists of the Palace of Schoolchildren Sanjan Nurmukhambet and Aldiyar Ersain. They presented the project "Chlorella" for the production of mixed feed for horses based on algae.

2nd place and 25000 received the idea of creating a medical application "SKO Health", which helps people find the right highly qualified doctor, first-year students of the Department of Finance and management of M. Kozybayev NKSU Olzhas Aysin, Amanzhol Aruzhan, Madina Zhanabayeva.

3rd place and 20000 at the pupil of the Palace of Schoolchildren Danat Kalbanov. He came up with an interactive backpack with "LedBackpack" LEDs.

Students Natalia Sytnikova and Yulia Shkareda received the 4th place and a half-year subscription to the pool of M. Kozybayev NKSU for the idea of "3D Books".

The "RED SPARK 2020" contest promises to become an annual event. This means that young and talented startups have time to improve their ideas and try their hand again!
