Cooperation between M. Kozybayev NKSU and the Yakut State Agricultural Academy is in full swing

M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan state University has been actively cooperating with the Yakut State Agricultural Academy, Sakha Republic, Russia for 3 years. Every year, according to the academic mobility program, our students go to study at the partner University, and their children come to study at the M. Kozybaev NKSU. The exchange of teachers for lectures is also practiced.

The University was visited by a delegation of YSAA, headed by rector Ivan Sleptsov, which indicates the seriousness of the intentions to develop further cooperation. Along with the first Manager, employees and students arrived. The latter will remain here to study for one semester.

At the meeting was signed the Agreement about realization of joint double degree programmes students of Agrotechnological faculty of M. Kozybayev NKSU and YSAA. It should be noted that such a document between the Kazakh University and the Yakut State Agricultural Academy is signed for the first time in Kazakhstan.

Speaking at the event, Ivan Sleptsov noted that Yakut students are very interested in the prospect of obtaining a diploma from the M. Kozybayev NKSU. After all, Northern Kazakhstan is an agricultural region, where the training of specialists is focused on training highly qualified personnel for agriculture, who have knowledge of digitalization and introduction of new technologies in agriculture.

Yakutsk State Agricultural Academy is a reference University in the North-East of Russia and covers 5 regions of the Russian Federation. More than 200 thousand horses and the same number of deer are grown in the Sakha Republic. Therefore, the scientific base in the field of animal husbandry is traditionally strong. Note that today 2 students from Petropavlovsk are studying in Yakutia for academic mobility. The Yakut Academy even pays them a scholarship of 5 thousand rubles a month.

Now our students will have a unique chance to get higher education at the same time at their Alma mater and partner University. The "Double diploma" program will be valid for both bachelors and full-time masters. It will allow dozens of students to expand their knowledge and learn different methods of their application. Participants of the programs will be trained in Kazakh and Russian companies. Graduates will receive two state diplomas of higher education: the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

Representatives of the Yakut delegation also got acquainted with the scientific and laboratory base of the agrotechnological faculty, the University infrastructure, and attended classes of students. We visited the laying of flowers at the memorial plaque of Maxim kirovich Ammosov, an outstanding statesman of the Yakut ASSR, who in 1934-1937 worked as the first Secretary of the North Kazakhstan Regional Committee of the all-Union Communist party.
