In the M. Kozybayev NKSU have started Days of Ukrainian culture

Since the beginning of the school year, the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan has been introducing university students and teachers to the culture of ethnic groups living in our country. Starting this week, events began dedicated to the customs, creativity and national cuisine of Ukrainians.

Representatives of the ethnocultural center "Polissya" helped recreate the atmosphere of a hospitable farm in the lobby of the second building at Lebyazhye village, M. Zhumabaev region of NKR. Guests were greeted in national costumes: men in colorful embroideries, girls with traditional floral wreaths on their heads. The exhibition presented wooden and clay dishes with national paintings, embroidered towels and other household items. Audiences talked about traditions, held a master class in folk crafts. Together with the creative team of A. Kokorin, the students danced and joined the performance of famous Ukrainian songs. In addition to the entertainment program, a pleasant surprise awaited everyone present - the tables were bursting with fragrant Ukrainian dishes: magnificent pastries, dumplings with sour cream, pancakes and, of course, lard.

In the afternoon, students took part in the Kiev-Petropavlovsk TV bridge on-line on the topic: “Preserving Ethnocultural Identity in the Conditions of Megacities and Large Cities”, with the participation of representatives of the Kazakh cultural centers of Kiev and Ukrainian cultural centers of the North Kazakhstan Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
