International Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Youth and Science - 2020"

The international student scientific and practical conference "Youth and science" has become a traditional event for our University. This year it was held in an online format. And this has not lost its relevance. It received 300 reports from students representing major scientific and educational institutions in Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus and other countries.

Opening the event, Vice-rector for SW Akmaral Ibrayeva said that the Alma mater has a trend of dynamic development of science among students and young scientists. For 3 years, 8 projects were completed, totaling more than 58 million tenge. More than 2,200 scientific papers have been published. Innovative ideas and improved organization of scientific activities at the University have become a lever for such changes.

The conference "Youth and science-2020" was devoted to the discussion of scientific issues in the Humanities, technical, agricultural, natural Sciences, topical issues of teacher education, Economics, law, history and journalism, as well as new technologies in the field of mathematics. Presentations were made by students, undergraduates and young scientists of our University. There are also children from Yakutia who are studying under the academic mobility program at M. Kozybayev NKSU.

Participants were welcomed by Irina Tukhvatulina, head of the Department of youth policy of the North Kazakhstan region. She noted that the state provides great support to young people who are seriously engaged in science: grants are allocated, startup projects are funded, symposiums and other events are held.

A collection of scientific articles will be published based on the results of the conference "Youth and science 2020".
