The leisure time of students in an online format

With the introduction of the state of emergency in our country and the transition to distance learning, educational events have also moved to an online format. Several times a week, the University's page on the social network Instagram hosts live broadcasts.

On April 4, a meeting was organized with the artistic Director of the national dance ensemble "Arai", the soloist of the group "Black diamond" Dilyara Sabyrova. She told about her creative path and shared with the audience how she spends her leisure time at home in quarantine.

On April 6, Zoom hosted a virtual meeting of Vice-rector for educational work and social issues Nurlan Baimbetov with students who remained in the dormitory. The children actively asked questions and received exhaustive answers. They also thanked the University management for their support and provided food packages.

On April 10, Aydin Akmagambetov, deputy head of the local police service of the city of Petropavlovsk, met with students online. He explained the procedure for bringing to justice and the measures provided for quarantine violations, gave specific examples of real situations. Students took the opportunity to ask a question and received constructive answers and recommendations.

On April 14, a virtual cooking class was organized for everyone. Deputy Dean of AF Inna Dzhemaledinova shared her recipe for the cheesecakes. This delicacy takes a little time to prepare, is quite simple and delicious.

On April 15, on the day of Kozy Korpesh – Bayan Sulu, a musical evening was held. Soulful compositions about love were presented to the audience by a student of the specialty "Music education" Nurpeis Omirzak. To the accompaniment of a guitar, he performed about 15 works. The online audience actively supported the guy with happy smiles and words of gratitude.

On April 17, law enforcement officers again met with students. This time, Nurzhan Omarov, Deputy Head of the Investigation Department of the Police Department of Petropavlovsk, got in touch. The conversation was about online fraud, which was especially frequent during the emergency, when everyone around began to actively use the World Wide Web. Criminals every time use more and more sophisticated methods in order to get the coveted pincode or CVV card. “Offline” thieves, which appear to be volunteers or disinfectors, have also intensified. Once in trust, they infiltrate the house and steal valuables. The story of the policeman interested students, at the end of the meeting they thanked the guest and promised to take his advice into service.

By the way, student self-government has joined in the endeavors of the department of educational and social work and the project office of “Sanaly Urpak”. They have already conducted a live broadcast of the "Evening Student Directorate" and are also preparing something interesting.

In total, about a thousand users were reached by online events during this time. A new project “AdalTALK” has been launched, which will be aimed at developing academic honesty and integrity. In the near future, students will have the opportunity to become a “digital volunteer”, as well as master classes in cooking, arts and crafts, and song evenings.
