Strengthening International Partnerships

M. Kozybayev NKSU successfully develops scientific and educational ties with partner universities. Significant in this direction was the international online meeting on cooperation with the Federal State Budgetary Educational Establishment of Higher Education “Arctic State Agrotechnological University” (the Republic of Sakha (RF) and the Kazakh National Agrarian University.

The main mission of the trilateral dialogue is to unite the potential of scientists of three universities for conducting joint scientific research in the field of agriculture, exchange experience in training specialists, and develop the opportunities for academic mobility of students and teachers.

At the meeting, they discussed the program of academic mobility, the issues of attracting applicants from Kazakhstan to study under two-diploma programs of master's and undergraduate programs at the FSBEI HE AGATU. It should be noted that with this university the exchange of students and teachers has been ongoing for the third year. At present, 2 of our students are in the Republic of Sakha, and 4 Yakut children are studying at M. Kozybayev NKSU. Work in this direction will be continued. In addition, leading scientists from KazNAU and the Arctic GATU are invited to lecture at our university.

The acting rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU Yerbol Issakayev, the rector of the Arctic GATU Ivan Sleptsov, the first vice-rector of KazNAU Kanat Tireuov noted the importance of implementing common research projects, participation in Kazakh and Russian scientific competitions in the field of agriculture. An important step in this direction could be the pooling of resources for participation in grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of sustainable development of the agricultural sector and the safety of agricultural products.

Summarizing the results, it was decided to create within the universities targeted working groups in the narrow scientific areas of the agricultural sector: crop production, poultry farming, animal husbandry and others. To determine the scientific potential and data exchange. We agreed to hold online meetings once a month.
