The organization of the examination session was told at M. Kozybayev NKSU

Not much time is left before the start of the summer session and the final certification. For most students, the session will begin on 11 and will last until May 23. The acting rector Yerbol Issakayev held an online meeting with students and undergraduates, at which he explained the procedure for conducting exams and the conditions for granting deferment and installment payment for tuition at a university.

This semester, the total number of exams at M.Kozybayev NKSU will be 2587, of which 2326 will be written (with plagiarism test), 59 in creative form. Testing will take place in two disciplines, and in two more - “Manashtanu” and “Physical Culture” - points will be awarded based on the results of current and midterm control.

Assessment of knowledge will be carried out both online and offline (at the request of students who have difficulties with the Internet or in the absence of the necessary means of communication). In the second case, for individual students, the session can be extended until June 30. To send answer sheets, children can use various communication platforms: emails, messengers, E-learning platform, Kazpost. According to Yerbol Issakayev, stress testing of platforms and systems, on the basis of which exams will be conducted, is currently being conducted at the university. Trial testing of students in general subjects is also organized. Trial written exams will be held for those who need it. All this will improve the organization of the session.

The first head of the university noted that over the 83-year history of the university, the session and the final certification were not abolished and were never postponed, even during the years of World War II. This is evidenced by documents stored in the archive of the alma mater. In the current situation of distance learning during the emergency, we, too, must make every effort and adequately complete the academic semester. M.Kozybayev NKSU has all the resources for this. In this case, all the principles of academic honesty will be respected.

The online event held on the platforms Facebook, Instagram, BigBlueButton, was attended by more than 1,100 students. They had the opportunity to ask questions and express their suggestions on organizing DL and exams.
